I am curious to find out what blog platform you have been utilizing? I’m having some minor security problems with my latest website and I would like to find something more safe. Do you have any solutions?

Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for beginner blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

    Your DIVA-LICIOUS Hues

    “HAVE A DIVA-licious DAY”
    Powder

A light dusting of powder on the eyelids will help to set eye shadow and extend the wear.

To set your makeup for a polished look, swirl a large soft makeup brush in the powder and dust it lightly over your face.
.How to Apply Mineral Makeup for Ethnic Women
Mineral make-up has become popular in recent years because it light on your face, doesn’t clog your pores like cream based and liquid make-up and it’s made from natural earth ingredients.

Some people have criticised that mineral powder fail to provide complete coverage. This is not true – it’s all about how you apply the makeup.

Here’s how to Apply DivaGlam Mineral Makeup (Shake, Tap and Brush)

1.Wash and dry your face with a gentle cleanser. Apply a moisturiser if needed, and allow it to completely absorb before applying your mineral makeup.

2.Shake a little of your mineral foundation into the lid of your foundation container.

3.Take your large kabuki brush and gently tap the bristles into the powder. Tap the brush on the side of the lid to shake off any excess until it looks as if your brush has no makeup on it at all.

4.Brush onto the skin in a swirling, circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones. Then, buff around the remainder of the face, working your way to the cheeks, forehead, and nose. Buff until you’re satisfied with the coverage. Remember, a little goes a long way. You can always increase coverage by adding additional layers.

.How to Select Eye Makeup that Complements Ethnic Skin

Your eyes are your face’s most prominent feature. Eye shadow contours, eyeliner defines and mascara adds length and drama to your lashes. Your perfect palette depends on the depth of color in your skin, as well as its undertones.

1.Determine if your skin has warm or cool undertones. If you have darker skin, accentuate your eyes with shadows and liners whose colours are richer and deeper in intensity.

2.Enhance a warm complexion with eye shadows that range between soft orange and rust, from honey to cinnamon.

3.Complement cooler complexions with eye shadows in varying shades of blue, purple and pink. Green flatters skin that has both warm and cool undertones. Blue-greens complement cooler complexions, and brownish, earthy greens enhance warmer ones.

4.Add glamour to a warm complexion with coppery or golden eye shadow. Pearly purple or silvery blue shadows will glamorize a cooler skin tones.
.Selecting the right make-up for ethnic skin…
Since skin tones vary greatly among ethnic women, finding the right face makeup can be tricky. The wrong makeup can lead to an ashen or flat complexion, but with a little insight and a lot of experimentation, you can minimize the guesswork and put your best face forward.

    Instructions

1.Look beyond your skins colour and examine its undertones. Rich black complexions usually have cool undertones, while brown and caramel complexions have warm golden undertones.

2.Choose from shades that appear to be in your colour range and may complement your undertones. Remember that foundation will look different on your skin than it does in a bottle or on a thumbnail palette.

3.Always try foundation on your jawline to get the best idea of a colour match.

4.Set your make-up with a loose translucent powder.

5.Contour your cheekbones with a sweep of blush. Plums, currants and mauves will flatter a medium to dark complexion. Caramel, honey and apricot will complement a medium to light complexion.

6.Bronzer is an alternative to blush for those with a warmer complexion. Dust a light coating over the face, contouring at temples and cheekbones.

.Things to Consider When Buying Make Up Foundation

Custom blending foundation is a service that DivaGlam Cosmetics offers for dark skin since the skin tones can be darker in some areas, such as the forehead, and lighter on the cheeks.  We can create a foundation made especially for YOU.  It is YOUR own personal foundation, no one else will have it and you can be sure to get the right color for you everytime.

    Lipstick

For most women with dark skin tones, the wrong shade of red can destroy the perfect look. Women with dark brown or deep black skin can use lipstick in various shades of red, while those a little lighter will find that coffee and deep reds work best. Women of mixed race and very light skin tones will find that lipsticks in pink and peach will do wonders. However, you can rarely go wrong with lip colours in terracotta, purple, toffee and berry.

Neutral coloured lip gloss is also wonderful on the lips of black women.

Using light shade lipsticks will minimize the size of large lips while darker shades will make lips look larger.

    Eye Shadow and Eyeliner

When it comes to eye makeup, women with dark skin tones can experiment with lots of different coloured eye liners and mascara.

Those who are looking for more natural-looking colours can go with earth tones such as browns, gold, cinnamon and caramel.

To really bring brown eyes into focus, nothing works quite as well as blue eyeliner.

    Blush

As a general rule, very dark-skinned women do not need blush. However, if you decide to add blush to your make up, choose from shades of bronze, plum, mauve and wine if dark coloured.

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Thank you!
